DPT File No. UD-088: 8” Swinging-Ladder Dredge Turnabout – 8” custom-built dredge was designed primarily for cleaning under slips. The 45’ cutterhead ladder is mounted on a 14’ diameter circular turntable, and the ladder swings under-water, beneath slips. The hull measures 45’ x 14’. Main machinery consists of an 8" Thomas dredge pump powered by a 475-hp GM 12V-71 diesel engine. Working depth is 17.5 ft. Auxiliary power provided by a GM 6-71 and 30-kw genset. DPT File No. UD-101: Aquamog Marine Maintenance Vessel – Model PRX 163 TL multi-purpose marine maintenance vessel. This machine has an articulated-boom ladder that can reach a depth of more than 20’. It is powered by a 163-hp John Deere diesel engine, and has dual, independently reversible paddle wheel propulsion. Multiple attachments available, including a 6” submersible dredge pump and horizontal auger-style cutterhead. It is in good condition, having undergone recent refurbishing. DPT File No. UD-115: 4-cu.yd. Floating Clamshell Dredge – This luffing-jib-type floating clamshell dredge was originally manufactured in 1976 by Atlas Manufacturing Company of Romulus, Michigan. It is now being completely re-manufactured by DMC. This machine dredges and processes sand and gravel, then transports the material to shore on floating conveyors. It is presently configured to work at depths up to 70 ft. The P&H draw works hoist and lower the 4-cu.yd electro-hydraulic bucket at 230 ft/min. Timed cycle at 45-ft depth is 1 minute, 45 seconds, resulting in a production rate of 220 cu.yd/hr. Available with or without automated controls. Call DMC for additional details; Price Group E.

DPT File No. UD-138: IHC Bucket-Ladder Dredge – This mechanical dredge is rated at 1250 TPH, excavating material via 66 buckets, 0.65 cu.yd. each, maximum 27 buckets per minute. Maximum working depth is 82 feet. The hull measures 130’ x 38’ x 10’; average draft is 5’6”. Total installed horsepower is approximately 877. Package includes a separate crusher barge with 25x42 jaw crusher, 500 ft of 36” floating conveyor, and an inventory of spare parts. All located in southern California, and reported to be in good operating condition. Price has been sharply reduced; now listed in Price Group F (negotiable).

DPT File No. UD-141: 16” Hydraulic Dredge Headway – This heavy-duty dredge, built in 1968, features three ladders: an 85’ cutter ladder, a 65’ cutter ladder, and a 70’ sand ladder with an 18” Thomas ladder pump. The main pump is a 16” x 18” Thomas Durable pump, powered by a 1440-hp EMD 16-248 diesel engine. A Westinghouse 400-hp DC motor powers the ladder pump. The hull measures 133’ x 30’ x 6’. Fuel tank capacity is 28,000 gallons. A 1990 survey report is included in this file. California Bay Area. Price Group C.

DPT File No. UD-160: 16"-20” Remanufactured Ellicott Series 1000 Dredge – Rebuilt dredge on Ellicott 1000 hull. Can be completed as a 16”, 18”, or 20” machine subject to buyer’s preference. Typical 16” configuration features a heavy-duty 18x16-40 dredge pump with Caterpillar 3508 main diesel power and Cat 3406 auxiliary. Will finish to suit buyer – call DMC for consultation. DPT File No. UD-195: 12” River Dredge with Swintek Ladder – This machine features an 85’ long by 9” pitch Swintek ladder, with a Gould 3405 200-hp jet-assist assembly, all mounted on a 120'x24'x5' forward barge. The primary dredging plant consists of a 14x12 Thomas L40 dredge pump, powered by a 470-hp Cummins KTA 1150 diesel engine, mounted on a 100’x 57’x 6’6” center section, rebuilt in 2002. Processing equipment includes an Allis Chalmers 5x12 3-deck screen with grizzly. Crew furnishings include bunkroom, galley, and marine septic system. Situated on the Ohio River, represented to be “ready to produce.” Price Group H.
