DPT File No. UD-088:  8” Swinging-Ladder Dredge Turnabout – 8” custom-built dredge was designed primarily for cleaning under slips.  The 45’ cutterhead ladder is mounted on a 14’ diameter circular turntable, and the ladder swings underwater, beneath slips.  Main machinery consists of an 8" Thomas dredge pump powered by a 475-hp GM 12V-71 diesel engine.  Auxiliary power provided by a GM 6-71 and 30-kw genset.  Owner claims 165 cy/hr typical.  Accessories include a Trimble GPS, a dredge computer, Sperry gyrocompass, etc.  Price also includes 2000’ of 8” HDPE pipe.  Professional survey available.  California Bay Area.

 

DPT File No. UD-141:  16” Hydraulic Dredge Headway – This heavy-duty dredge, built in 1968, features three ladders: an 85’ cutter ladder, a 65’ cutter ladder, and a 70’ sand ladder with an 18” Thomas ladder pump.  The main pump is a 16” x 18” Thomas Durable pump, powered by a 1440-hp EMD 16-248 diesel engine.  A Westinghouse 400-hp DC motor powers the ladder pump.  The hull measures 133’ x 30’ x 6’.  Fuel tank capacity is 28,000 gallons.  A 1990 survey report is included in this file.  The dredge is currently located in California; price has been reduced.

 

DPT File No. UD-207:  IMS Model 4010 Auger Dredge – 1995 year model, has operated less than 10,000 hours since new.  This complete package includes 2500 ft of 10” HDPE discharge pipe; also includes a 40’ trailer, a 45’ storage trailer, a jon-boat with motor, a 6” water pump with motor, and miscellaneous tools and spare parts.  Has been very well maintained, and remains in very good condition, ready to work.  Located in central Virginia.  Price includes on-going contracts.

 

DPT File No. UD-234:  8" Modified VMI MiniDredge – Modified VMI Model MD815B, with 8" Morris pump and GM 6-71 diesel engine.  Has very few operating hours in light to medium duty since new.  This machine is now located at DMC, where it has been completely renovated, and refitted with a standard rotating cutterhead ladder, hydraulic swing winches, spuds and rams.  Immediately available.

 

DPT File No. UD-243:  10" Ellicott Series B-490 "Wheel Dragon" Dredge – Updated listing.  This machine is equipped with Ellicott 60" dual bucket-wheel cutter rated at 100 hp.  The 10x10 Ellicott dredge pump is powered by a Cat 3408B diesel engine.  The working depth is 26'; overall hull dimensions: 56'x 25'x 4'; weight 63 tons.  Also equipped with spud carriage.  Reconditioned hull and pump; extensive recent refurbishing.  Price includes 2800' of discharge pipe.  Now located north of Los Angeles.  Price just reduced.

 

DPT File No. UD-276:  8" DMC Dredge – This machine is equipped with a 10x8 Pekor dredge pump and Cat 3406 power; the 3-section hull has been fitted with new side pontoons, and supports a new 45' cutterhead ladder.  The dredge is in operating condition, but needs major cosmetic attention, and has now been acquired by DMC for renovation and resale.  Final price based on buyer’s options.

 

DPT File No. UD-295:  IMS Model 5012-HP Auger Dredge – Very nice standard model horizontal auger dredge from IMS, manufactured in 2005, with only 1200 hours use.  The HP (high pressure) model features an 8x10 GIW pump, powered by a 325-hp John Deere diesel engine.  Starwheel Drive propulsion is standard, and cable drive is also included with this machine.  Price includes 250' of IMS roll-flat pipe.  Up to 2500' of 10" HDPE discharge pipe also available from this owner, as well as a Mack tractor, trailer, and all-terrain loader.  All in excellent condition, immediately available in the St. Louis area.
