DPT File No. UD-300:  12" DMC-Refurbished Dredge – This dredge was originally built by Assemblers, and is now at the DMC workshop for refurbishing/re-outfitting.  It is equipped with a 12x12-36 dredge pump, with primary plant specifications to be determined.  We can install power, winches, ladder, cutter system, etc. of customer's choice.  Typically, we would install a low-time Cat 3412, rebuilt winches, etc.  The hull is a one-piece configuration, measuring 50' x 15' x 4'.  Price Group C, typical.  Delivery 4-6 months ARO.

 

DPT File No. UD-301:  6" W&S Model D-20 – This is a very popular standard model small dredge from W&S.  The 6-inch Lightning pump is powered by a John Deere model 4239-T diesel engine.  The hull measures 30' x 8', and the maximum working depth is 15 ft.  Conventional configuration includes cutterhead, spuds, hydraulic winches, etc.  Condition is reported to be excellent.  This machine is ready to go to work, now located in Texas.  Price Group A.

 

DPT File No. UD-302:  10" Dixie Dredge – Model C-10, Series 200 cutter-suction dredge, originally built by Dixie Dredge Corporation, and re-manufactured by DMC in 1990.  This machine is well equipped with a 12x10 Thomas Simplicity Series J-36 dredge pump, with GM 12V-71 main diesel power, Cotta drive, and GM 6V-71 auxiliary.  The center hull section is 35' x 10', with four side pontoons - two measuring 30' x 4.5' x x5' and two 15' x 4.5' x 5' – all supporting a 46' long ladder.  This dredge is reported to be in basically sound condition, but needs refurbishing.  Inspection is available in South Carolina; reasonable offers will be considered.

 

DPT File No. UD-303:  12" Custom-Built Dredge – Originally designed and custom-built for a Kentucky aggregate producer, this machine was completely rebuilt by DMC in 2004, and returned to the pit.  Primary equipment includes a 12" Thomas dredge pump, Cummins QSK19 main engine (new reman in 2004), Cummins BT3.9 auxiliary engine (new in 2005), and Cummins-Onan genset (new in 2004).  The 67' long ladder is mounted on a 35' x 10' x 5' center section, with 80' x 5' x 5' side pontoons.  This dredge remains in excellent condition, work-ready in Kentucky.  Price Group E.

 

DPT File No. UD-304:  24" Non-Portable Cutter-Suction Dredge – Originally designed and custom-built for an Arkansas contractor's use on large U.S. Corps of Engineers' projects in the Mississippi River system, this dredge has just been made available for sale.  The primary plant features a 28.5" x 24" Mobile Pulley pump with 2800-hp EMD diesel power and Caterpillar auxiliaries.  Hull dimensions are 110' x 32' x 7.5', with 5.5' normal operating draft.  The 65' ladder supports a 500-hp cutter module.  The dredge has been well-maintained throughout its life, and remains in good working condition, although some routine refurbishing work is currently in progress.  While it is listed as "non-portable," this machine is located on the Arkansas River, and can be transported downstream to New Orleans, and from there to any coastal location worldwide.  If necessary, it can also be reconfigured for portability.  Call DMC for additional details and current photographs.  Very reasonable in Price Group I.

 

DPT File No. UD-305:  12" Dixie Dredge – This Dixie Series 200 features two interchangeable cutter modules, one for sand and one for rock, on a 40' ladder.  For further flexibility, there is a 54' straight-suction ladder for free-flowing sand.  The new 14x12 Mobile Pulley pump is powered by a rebuilt 16V-71 Detroit Diesel engine, and a Detroit 6V-92 supplies auxiliary power.  Overall hull dimensions are 50' x 21' x 5'.  Most of the machinery and equipment, including pump, engines, cutter module, spuds, hydraulics, etc., is either new or just rebuilt.  The package also includes 3000' of discharge pipe and miscellaneous spares.  Now available for inspection in central Florida, this dredge is an excellent buy.  Price Group E.
