UD-363 12-in Custom-Built Dredge
This impressive machine was originally built in 2000 by a North Carolina contractor to his own exacting specifications. The 12” GIW pump is powered by a 720-hp Caterpillar 3412 diesel engine, driving through an enclosed reduction gear. Hydraulic circuits are powered by a Model 330 Caterpillar auxiliary engine. Swing functions, as well as ladder and spud hoisting, are all controlled by hydraulic winches. The dredge is equipped with 120-V and 240-V AC circuits, powered by a 40-kW genset. This machine features an oversized 3-piece barge, with overall assembled dimensions measuring 65’ x 31’ x 6’, and supporting a 55’-long cutterhead ladder. The raised control room is comfortable and well-equipped. This is an interesting dredge, in good condition, and immediately available in New Jersey.
