UD-354 16-inch CDW Dredge - SPECIAL
For Sale or Lease... This outstanding, heavy-duty 16” dredge was manufactured by Custom Dredge Works of Topeka, Kansas in 2009, and has less than 5000 hours service since new. The large, dismountable hull is ruggedly constructed, with ¼” thick steel, and measures 75’ x 22’ x 5’ assembled. It supports a 40’ long ladder allowing dredging at depths of 34’. The ladder length is readily extendable if desired. Primary machinery includes an 18” x 16” Pearce dredge pump, powered by an 1125-hp Caterpillar model C-32 diesel engine. A Cat C-11 rated at 420-hp powers the auxiliary systems, including the 200-hp cutter. Pullmaster winches provide all hauling and hoisting functions. The operator’s cabin is comfortable and totally equipped for automated operation. This dredge has been very well maintained, and is immediately available on the North Carolina coast. The price is reasonable.
