UD-355 8-inch DSC Moray Swinging-Ladder Dredge
Manufacturedby Dredging Supply Company in 2007, with only 2621 hours service for one owner (as of May 2012). This versatile machine is an ideal small contractor’s dredge. It is a “combination” dredge, meaning it can be operated with the dredge hull stationary and only the ladder swinging, excellent for narrow, confined spaces such as channels, or it can be operated conventionally, with the ladder fixed and the entire dredge swinging back and forth on spuds. When operating, the dredge measures 43’ long by 18’6” wide, with a 20’-long ladder. It is equipped with an 8x8 GIW underwater ladder pump, with a 275-hp Caterpillar model 3126B diesel engine. Also has fully-automated operation package. This machine is in excellent condition, located in southern Illinois, and immediately available. Very attractively priced.
